I have been training in Irish dance since the age of 3, and at 14, branched out into a wider range of dance styles, including ballet, contemporary and jazz. My passion and hard working nature means I can adapt easily to new environments, working with companies, and learning new skills.

I joined Cork City Ballet as a corps de ballet member in 2010. Productions I have performed in include Swan Lake, Giselle, The Sleeping Beauty, The Playboy of the Western World, and The Nutcracker.
Dance Teacher
2009-2012
This position was in Clonakilty, West Cork, with The Enchanted Threads. The business was an art/craft store, and also provided art and dance classes for children. As well as teaching dance, I assisted in teaching the art classes for children and sewing classes for adults. Forms of dance I taught were Irish, ballet and also taught stretching and fitness work.

I am due to graduate in May with a BA in Irish Music and Dance. This course involved studying Irish dance at the highest level, along with classes in ballet, contemporary, movement awareness, keyboard, vocational skills, and Irish Music and Dance studies.

While studying here, I was given a part in the Cork City Ballet company, as corps de ballet member. We also took part in a ballet intensive week in the Kirov Ballet School, St. Petersburg.
